On Saturday, February 16, MSA-1 had their first Martial Arts belt test. Five students tested to promote from white belt to yellow and all passed. They were judged by three masters of the martial arts. Students did resoundingly well as they completed each of the requirements toward advancing in the basics of the martial arts. Yellow, considered "Gold," is the belt that represents that which is most valuable to Tae Kwon Do. The essentials and basics are emphasized, which are the pillar of the art.
